I'm really happy we've made it this far - 61 years! Amazing!
Before the pandemic I was still traveling internationally 2 to 3 times a year working with medical teams who repair cleft deformities and burn scars. Unfortunately international travel for us is on hold for now, but lately I have been able to do some virtual education for the nurses in Central America, Congo, and Bangladesh, which has been a lot of fun but also challenging. My favorite activity is spending time with our family. Most of our seven grandchildren are now teenagers or adults, but we have a four-year-old grandson who is the apple of everyone’s eye and is keeping us all young.I also enjoy spending time with my dogs on the trails in Oakland and in Colorado.
