I retired from the practice of anesthesia at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio November 30, 2005 and moved to Florida (Sarasota area) December 1, 2005.

I have volunteered as a primary care physician at various "free clinics" and at a homeless shelter in the area since retirement. I love the feeling of "usefulness" that I get from these activities, and they keep me off the streets.

After raising 3 kids and a hiatus of 27 years as a single parent, I married Bob Lewis, a man whom I had known for 35 years (and my former stock broker) in April, 2009. Sadly, bob died March, 2014.

I still LOVE living in Florida and do NOT miss three of the four seasons in Ohio. It was delightful to have brunch with Jackie and Hal Horton in Sarasota this Spring and would love to see any of you who ventures down this way.
